So glad I made the drive from Houston today. Best overall game of the year. Our shooters came to play today. Hard to beat when we make those outside shots. Matt Hayman on fire today. AJ ran the point great today. Go Jacks! Make that 5 in a row!
Game felt good from the get go. The guys looked very loose in pregame. Hit a couple of threes to get started, played focused for a majority of the game. Really played as a team.
The Jacks have consistently struggled with having big leads early in the second and letting the other team back in. Not today. When the game came down to 15 points, they sharpened up and closed it out.
Hall was effective and efficient. Beaubrun played a huge game and led the team in assists. AJ was so good breaking the press. Hayman with his superhuman second half. Really good minutes by everyone.
Let's keep this team around.

Best all around game since early on. I didn't see the Drake game but sounds like a similar performance. UT Arlington ain't great but they ain't bad. If we can get this kind of versatility and defensive success , lookout.

AJ was really key. Almost like he looked last year. Just indispensable. I like Kimarhi Wilson. Wilson will be really good. But having AJ run the game like he did today. What a difference.
48% from three land. 15 turnovers is not real good but better than usual. Great team performance.

Ya. Seems very positive. UTU and SUU are tough squads. UTU had GCU down by 10 or more until the middle of the 2nd half. GCU couldn't find a bucket.
The stats for this team are very interesting. So many contributors. No one blowing it out. Leading scorer is averaging 10 points a game. Our rebounding is very solid.
If we can cleanup the turnovers a little, and lower the fouls we could challenge GCU. The WAC is tough.

Looking back at Matt Hayman's final year of Juco at Hinds CC he averaged 15.8 ppg. The last 10 games of that season he averaged 19.8 ppg. Matt was the Man! He was that Dude!
Matt dropped 20 points in the 2nd half of yesterday's game. Is Matt fixing to break out for the Jacks?
