Apathy about the MBB program is worse than the typical gnashing of teeth on this board when things aren't going well. It's not a season ender, but I believe this is a really important game. Can't blame underperforming on altitude.

Thanks for starting the thread. I've been out of pocket for a couple weeks dealing with a family medical issue. I'll be back to write ups soon.

New Mexico State under Hooten hasn't been good so far. Like the Jacks, they have played tough teams decently but lost to bad teams too.

Jacks haven't put together a solid game yet since Drake. Wyoming was supposed to be the start of an easy swing in our schedule. Let's hope the home court helps them finish tonight.

SFA 24-17. Blanked them over the last 4. Stone scoring where all other bigs can't. Still haven't figured out why a hurt DayDay could deliver 10-15 points every game last year and this year he can't get points.

17 free throws for us compared to 4 for them definitely impacted the game. Out rebounded them by 9. Leading the turnover battle 11-8.

Both teams shooting under 30%.

Agree about Day Day. I think he just doesn't get enough touches. And his minutes have been greatly reduced.

Sloppy first half. But I'll take a sloppy 12 point lead every time.

And after Jenkins was taken out he never saw the floor again.

When Day Day was in there he looked totally out of cync. He's usually one of the smoothest guys with the ball, but not recently.

Just saying that we've been in cruise control this half against a team that has shown very little fight. Sloppy play has let them back in. Our discipline is not good.

Completely agree. We are being lazy with passes and playing carelessly so a 15 point lead is down to 6
