Hope to see the Ladyjacks start to define their identity against a solid, 3-2, Rice team. The two Rice losses are by 25 to TCU, and 3 to GT. They have an 11 point win at ACU.

Agree with you PG. Of course it's still Thanksgiving weekend and few students around so kind of expected today. Problem is crowds are too small for Ladies even when everyone is home!

Rough quarter. Rice fired up the defensive pressure and we did not handle it well. We need to not panic and get back to how we played in 1st half.

I'll be very honest. I was sitting here waiting for the Ladyjacks to implode in the 4th quarter. They did not. They proved that they're a resiliant bunch. Still making some silly mistakes but getting better.

Honestly the kind of game that should help this team grow. Big early lead, other team never quits and evens it up then our Ladies regroup for a solid 4th quarter. Still lots to work on but a nice win today.

Harden going 23 and 15 is so impressive. She played 39 minutes though. She's going to need more relief going forward. 16 assists on 23 made buckets is solid. 21 turnovers is a lot.

When Rice backed off the full court man to a very active 1-3-1, is when our performance really fell off. We started to figure it out in time to pull out the win.

Harden with an excellent game. Nelson also with a double/double, but I was ready to bench her early in the game. Missing easy shots and not active on the boards. I have no doubt in her talent, but she has to get more consistent. She must stop being so careless with the ball. Too many turnovers. Gatewood gave some quality minutes later in the game. We need her to make progress so Deck can spend more time at SG.

I think Bishop had a solid game. Substitutions and adjustments seemed to be on spot. Need him to work on that halftime speech though. That third quarter was ugly.

Good win. On to WAC play at Tarleton.

You're right about Zoe. Very careless passing the last two games. On the positive side, she does rebound well, and she shoots the ball well from inside six feet. She's not a good shooter from distance.
