Tonight at 6:30 CST, SFA will be taking on the Utah State Aggies for the Cayman Islands Classic Championship!
The Lumberjacks have really shown up on their island getaway pouring in points from all directions. Their depth has kept bodies fresh and flying. As mentioned yesterday, although the Jacks scored over 90 points, the lead scorer only had 14. Everyone has found a way to participate.
Utah State has had a different philosophy. Their starters play lots of minutes, and in their 65 point win over Akron yesterday, Osobor had more than a third of all points. The Aggies play through their 6' 8", 245lb beast of a forward Great Osobor. He is a double double machine, and while it's doubtful the Jacks can stop him, slowing his effectiveness is the key to success.
While eight separate Jacks scored threes yesterday, the Aggies only put in three all game. Tough and physical inside. Jacks quick hands are going to need to be precise to roll over this good team.
