That's two consecutive piss poor home performances.
This season is spiraling out of control quickly.
We're 4-5 since we started 5-0 in conference and it looks
like we're getting worse.

Have to agree with Master...can't whine about the seeding system when you can't win at home against weaker opponents.
Team needs to focus on 40 minutes of play and correcting what they can.

spot on. First game Ive been able to see in person since about 4 weeks ago. The noticeable lack of spark was surprising. Can't blame the crowd. Players seemed like the season has worn them down. Heck ever Keller looked unmotivated on the sideline. Might be time to go back to his mafia suits, remember those days? We never adjusted our 'press u' when they started hitting their 3s. Nana pushed all over the place by regular forwards. I'd like to exchange our 'press u' for just a little bit of 'score u'. Heck we only beat them by 4 at their place, so we are a mediocre, middle of the road team. On the bright side, I renewed my season football tickets, so looking ahead.BigJack85 said:

Presser was as bland and uninspiring as the way the Jack's played today.

Made it back to Houston. It's a long long long drive after a klunker like that one. Some reflections:
1. Rarely have I seen the entire team play , just average
2. DayDay always gives 125%. If that's possible.
3. Nana is of limited value inside, unless he gets the ball within 3 ft of the basket.
4. Rebounding woes. I expected UTA to do what they would do. Rebound.
5. We had very little success slowing Weaver down. He's for real. I kind of figured Hawkins would have slowed him down. Didn't happen.
6. Beaubrun disappeared today.

I missed the game but watched the replay last night. Did anyone else notice what appeared to be a pretty big disagreement between Keller and Ware during a timeout maybe midway of 2nd half? Ware seemed to be pleading his case about something and Keller didn't want any part of it. Ware sat the rest of game and seemed very disinterested on the bench.

I did see the Keller/Ware interaction. I was likely too astounded at our poor play to give it much thought at the time. I did not notice that Ware never got back into the game.
Unfortunately we are just a middle of the pack WAC team.
The good news is, we are basically a lock for the 6 seed and avoid UTA.
We would play the 11 seed, Utah Tech.

The last few weeks/performances do not inspire confidence in the "We win" part.
Yes, optimism in short supply here.. We won't beat ACU on Weds without a huge step up from the last 2 games.
Are they having the Wild Wings coaches show tonight? If so I want to hear if Keller sounds as bad as he did in the last presser........and what he offers up tonight.

Well, the Buffalo Wild Wings coach's show was a bust as far as I'm concerned with Keller's part. Talked about Hallmark movies, what color pants wearing Weds night and how bad he felt for staff and fans about Saturday loss. No meat all fluff. No mention of any players so whatever is up with Posey will remain unknown.
Did mention the Sunday night ESPNU game and hoping for a good turnout to represent East Tx and SFA.
Kellog part of the show much more WBB related. I like that he said if we (SFA) want to be great then we have to find ways to win games like SUU, regardless of altitude or any other reasons. I also like his attitude of If the student athletes give him everything they have during BB time then he tries to make sure they get to see sights and places when they visit cities like Seattle or walking the Vegas strip in between flights home last Saturday.
