It was a 3 point game and then we weak defended Finau on two straight possessions. The first one she made an awkward turnaround 6' shot but the next possession, no one guarded her and she easily knocked down a straightaway three to put the game back to 8 in about 25 seconds of game play.

Sad but proud we made it a game in the 4th. Gonna need some help now.

SUU is in a close game with Tarleton in the 3rd. Only up 5. I'm a Tatleton fan now.

Credit to CBU. They came out and hits shots. Trinity San Antonio is a handful and she sparked her team in the first half. They had active hands and created turnovers that led to points. The Ladyjacks did a good job getting back in the game but it took a lot of energy to do it and CBU was not going to lay down. They made the Ladyjacks fight for it.

SUU was able to the W over Tarleton; they had a very off game. It was their first time to play them. Hoping we can take advantage when we play them as well. We are still very much in it. We need to win out; SUU needs to drop a couple, as does CBU.

You're not wrong in that she is definitely not playing at POY level. She has struggled the last two years down the stretch with her attitude late in the season. It's like she gets mentally run down as the physical strain of the season goes on.

I have been hoping that Harden sharing the load would make it easier on her, and Harden does seem to be growing into her role. Now, every team gives their hardest pop in the mouth to Aiyana and that's not easy for anyone to take.

Ultimately this team (which may be our most talented) needs an on the court leader. Harrison may become it but as a freshman doesn't quite have the feel for controlling the attitude of the team like Bri Mitchell was so good at. AB isn't bad at it. Let's hope they use this game as fuel for the rest of the regular season run.

Southern Utah is getting a little break on scheduling in their first year. They play SFA and CBU only once and at home. They do play the next top four teams in the WAC again but all at home. They haven't had many dominant wins, so it won't be surprising if they fall back to the pack.
