The most important game of the season so far.
We will see if people show up. Classes resumed yesterday and attendance last night was 428. Attendance for our game last year was 489. Their support for women isn't anywhere near what they do for men.nacluth said:
Probably the toughest WAC environment for the Ladyjacks to go to. It's going to be a huge game and you know GCU knows it.
Tomorrow, YOU could win prizes! 🎁

We will have a raffle in the lobby when doors open with prizes up to $5,000! Some of those prizes are ⬇️
- tickets to the Waste Management Open 🏌️
- a year-long car wash subscription 🧽🚗
- a year-long Esporta membership 💪#LopesUp pic.twitter.com/HadgLdeaKf
Very true. Unless it is a power 5, attendance for the women is low. SFA is the best women's team to play at GCU but the students don't know it. Most of them probably don't know anything about SFA.SFAJack_76 said:We will see if people show up. Classes resumed yesterday and attendance last night was 428. Let's not minimize the Phoenix Open tickets. Those are valuable.SFAJack_76 said:

They promoted the heck out of the ASU vs. GCU game for weeks in advance. They talked about it during every men's game. They called it the battle for state 48, it wasn't but a local clothing company with that name sponsored it and gave away 1000 free State 48 t-shirts. They even brought in Ann Myers Drysdale to be the color analyst.
They have done none of that for this game. I'm not expecting very many fans.

Usually have a bad night of shooting after a can't miss night. I rack this one up to the basketball gods. We'll be back!

The Ladies never lost their heads in a difficult atmosphere, either. It really came down to the last 2-3 possessions. Nana played her best game, that we've seen in a bit, IMO. To battle a tough opponent on the road missing shots, and it being down to the last minute on the clock....can't ask for much more than that!
