We took 10 more shots than Furman and scored 7 fewer buckets. Cold cold cold. Hawkins and Nana are hitting above their scoring averages.

Didn't get to watch, unfortunately. From what I can can gather we made quite a comeback.
They play so smart and tough and then you see something like that, it leaves you scratching your head.purpleballs said:Jacks1989 said:

Hawkins fouling diving after loose ball 80 ft from their basket with 7 seconds on shot clock was huge.

Well the game was a little bit of a heartbreaker in that the terrible start really defined the context of the game. The Jacks showed that they had more than enough ability to win and probably handily.
The comeback and heart was immensely impressive. Jossell can be a huge difference maker, but a scoreless half hurt. Ware must be worse off than we know. Hawkins continues to impress. AJ is a stud and has been playing as good as Posey has ever played. I can't wait to see them on the court together again.
I have no idea what happened on that technical at the end of the game. In the replay, the side ref clearly calls a foul that should lead to two shots, but they go with the technical after the play for one. That is mind-boggling. The guy still hits the shot, but it's different playing for OT or playing against a loss.
Definitely a lot heart and a lot of upside to this team. I hope we see it come WAC play. With the new seeding system, we can't lose more than about three games in conference play to have a realistic shot of a top seed. We could easily end up third in the WAC but fifth or sixth in the tournament due to our rating.
Let's get this thing rolling.

Tezeno came in for a couple of minutes, went out, and never returned. He must not have been quite ready.
According to the NCAA rules, SFA should have been rewarded two FTs at the end of todays game instead of one for the Furman excessive timeout technical. Confirmed with an NCAA official. pic.twitter.com/qNfgFYz3Od
