SFA (3-2) vs. Middle Tennessee State (3-2)
WHEN: 11/26 (SAT) 3:30P.M.
WHERE: Northern Classic (Montreal, Quebec)
WATCH: Be The Beast ($25 for the tournament access)
The Lumberjacks are back at it tomorrow afternoon against the Blue Raiders of MTSU. Last season in Cancun, the red hot Jacks cleaned up a Blue Raiders team that had a better than expected season. This year, everyone knows that MTSU is going to be good.
Today, the Blue Raiders knocked off a decent Hofstra, but their games this season have been very up and down. They are bigger than the Jacks but have very similar overall stats. It's all about which Jacks team shows up.
Today, the Jacks couldn't get into any offensive flow despite playing decent defense. Robbie Armbrester made his season debut but only had marginal success in limited minutes. Jossell's absence seemed to keep any spark from igniting. Hawkins again had decent offensive output but does not play equally well on both sides of the court.
We're having trouble finding unity between the 1 and the 5 spot. Posey and Nana are the true keys to the team, but they are under severe pressure. Unless our guards can start hitting then this could be a long game. But, this seems like a game that the Jacks can turn around.
Hopefully Canada warms up tomorrow.
