SFA (3-1) vs. Quinnipiac (5-0)

Heading out of the country for a Thanksgiving tournament is beginning to be something of a tradition for Keller's teams as the Lumberjacks head to Canada for their third foreign tournament in 5 years. They are going coming off of the high of beating South Dakota St. on the road. It was the only Quad 1 game on their schedule to start the year and they made the most of their opportunity.
Now in Montreal, the team will get to learn how to say "Howdy" in Quebecois. They have three big midmajor games in three days. The first (on paper the easiest) is against the undefeated Bobcats of Quinnipiac University. Like Alcorn St., this team is stronger than their KenPom ranking having run through their schedule so far knocking off a decent Rhode Island team along the way.
The Bobcats are smaller than SDSU but they are led by a strong pair of seniors Matt Balanc (Sr., G, 6'3") and Ike Nweke (Sr., F, 6'7"). Five scorers average double digits. The team is balanced offensively and defensively but they take 25 threes a game connecting on 40%. They are atrocious at the line.
The Jacks take almost the fewest threes of any team this season. Playing up tight to the basket has been our strength and expect that to be similar in Canada. Defense on the perimeter will be a priority as well as speeding up the game play of the Bobcats.
The next three are tough, but the Jacks have the talent to make the most of their trip.
