UNT was picked to finish 5th, one spot behind Rice, in the pre-season poll for C-USA. Their first "game" was an exhibition against Texas A&M International, which they won 87-66. UNT played Texas A&M-Texarkana next and won 71-58. SFA will be their toughest competition as of the start on non-conf. They had one player named to the All-Conference team: Senior guard Quincy Noble.

I am looking for SFA to have improved team synergy and improved defense. Also looking for NaNa to step it up.

I've never seen anything like this. Wow. And UNT was picked for the middle of CUSA. I wouldn't be surprised if UNT was picked at the bottom. But they are picked for 7th out of 13.

I'll say it again, I think we are in the midst of watching one of the greatest coaches in SFA history. The entire town should turn out to watch and support what Mark has done with this program. Certainly Debbie Humphrey and Sue Gunter status. Quite honestly, how he has them play is a beautiful brand of basketball to watch. IMHO.

Agreed. 100%. Add in the fact that more schools are pouring money into WBB. Making the landscape much more competitive.
