I have no idea how we won, but I'll take it!

Strange thought: when Ty and TJ weren't playing, it seemed like the offense ran way smoother.

The Augustin/Dallas/Canete/Kevon/Leon lineup was the one that one it for us.

Also, on a human emotional level, I feel bad for the Kamba kid. Twice he had the game in his hands on the free throw line and missed every shot.

As Isaac says, "there's no bad road wins." We got it done. Perimeter shooting finally opened their defense down the stretch, and we definitely won on their terrible free throw shooting. Let's go home.

I will take the win. But it feels like we just cover a hole in our pipe with duck tape. We wont beat uno or c.c like that. Not going to get to happy bc its an identical game to the nw state game and that streak ended with uno kicking our ass

No Charles. No Holyfield. No problem...

I'm still not sure what to think about this team. They're obviously more talented than the rest of the SLC, but sure do find ways to try to lose games, even when they win them at the end.

Is this a coaching issue?

Hey, we came back from double digits down on the road where we have struggled all year. Yes UCA is pretty bad and yes their free throw shooting did them in....but again we recovered and pulled it out. That's why you play the games. Enjoy the moment.

Somehow, some way we went 2-1 on this road trip and end up exactly in the same position that we left Nac. If you'd have asked me before this three-game stretch if I'd accept 2-1, I'd have said yes. And here we are.... Hope still springs eternal.....

I still feel like we have coaching issues.

But, at this point, it is what it is.

The single issue I see is that we still have no idea what our ideal lineup is. We've played 27 games and haven't found that lineup that seems to mesh the best.

However, through injury and fouls, we may have found one. That lineup at the end of regulation and OT ran as smooth as any all year

Yeah that lineup played good, but to be fair, Canete and Cameron had found a little confidence before it became their team. I wish we could count on their confidence throughout the game. Ivan particularly, if he gets hot, keep him in!

Glad we won that game. We put oursleves in
precarious positions on this road trip. I don't know the condition of Ty but that will be vital. The 2 guard lineup with dallas and augustin helped because of the penetration once we moved the ball. There was more fluidity for sure. Hek we even got an easy basket when augustine worked it inside for the dish.We need our guards to develop and play make.

We are lucky. Very lucky. That won't cut it next year. Won't get us to the NCAA tournament. Good luck with level of coaching errrrrrrr. Buddy help. Keller isn't a coach. He's a best buddy. Even in Ned Fowlers worst days he's better than this.

When on ESPN, we're 14-7. The 7 losses coming to Kentucky, Utah, Arkansas, UAB, Tulsa, ACU, & Incarnate Word.

When on any other broadcast, we're 2-5.

Luckily, the SLC tourney will be broadcast on ESPN2 or 3.

Well in that case the rest of our games are on espn 3. Just give us the the trophy now.

HOWEVER, if I have to keep watching those same ESPN spots and commercials over and over and over during time outs, I may have a coronary before we head to the Big Dance.

That was a gutty, hell of a comeback and took some real heart. And yes, COACHING had something to do with those last 5 minutes, especially how we compensated inside without TJ on the floor. This is the kind of win you just enjoy. We've won 5 of 6 and it isn't by accident. Be happy. We could be SHSU.

Or, (crazy thought coming) we can play like we did the last 5 minutes and OT the whole game and not have to worry about close games.

Love the win, love any win, but I'm being picky and greedy...I want us to play better from start to finish. Not rely on 17 missed FT and a late game push.

At some point we should have the rehash thread chronicling where people saw this club ending up or where they would be happy. I seem to remember a decent consensus that a top 4 finish would be a good result. I think we're going to achieve that - maybe more. CC and HBU while storming have played through the bottom of the conference mainly. My wife had to keep getting on to me tonight for clapping and yelling while the kids were trying to go to sleep. I got pumped, and I know we'll be pumped at home next week! Axe 'em!

I'm there with you. Doing the "silent celebration" of standing to yell and nothing coming out and clapping without making contact.

Keller is doing a heck of a job. When you lose talent like last year and guys learning a new system and a new coach and still in position to get a double bye in the tourney says a lot. Go Jacks!!!
