Hey we did have some instant replays tonight.
I kinda liked the couple of times where the camera didn't follow the ball for several seconds. It let me use my imagination as to what was going on.

This makes 3 Quad 2 wins for the Jacks this year: Liberty, ACU, and GCU. The ACU was Q1 at the time. At the moment the NMSU game is slated as Q2 as well, but I bet the loss tonight turns the home game Q3.

Anyway, 3 Q2 wins is the most for SFA in a season since the NET started.

Well our 3 Q2 wins became 1 overnight as both ACU's and GCU's rankings fell. GCU dropped 22 NET spots while SFA climbed that many. Still 4 teams ahead of us: GCU, NMSU, UVU, and Seattle.

Sam of course is ahead in conference wins.

This was the best defensive effort I've seen this year. It wasn't perfect, seeing Blacksher get a few uncontested threes because of lack of shifting, but as close to perfect as you can get. Sure, Blacksher had 22 points, but he had no support, as the second leading scorer only had 3. Not only were the step outs fantastic on the high ball screens, but the backside defense in the lane shifted appropriately and didn't allow any easy baskets in the paint. If we bring that "D" Saturday, we win. Combine that with only 10 turnovers (very low for this team) and you have the recipe for a win.
We still need to work on free throws, but for once, they were worse. With this type of effort, I can see the Jacks as a major threat in the WAC.
