Had a great time in Lawrence. Environment was fantastic, but actually not quite as normal for them as they only had about half of their normal student section. It was extremely loud the last few minutes. Not sure how much was on tv around the last media timeout, but the whole place was electric. As they should, they've got it down precisely on how a crowd and atmosphere should work. Perfectly placed music during timeouts, etc.

I did have one older lady try to kick Grant (former manager, the guy always yelling defense at our games) and out I within the first 5 minutes of the game. She told Grant he was being disrespectful because of where we were sitting (9 rows behind our bench). Which is apparently the KU player family section. I said I was surprised they didn't have them closer to the other bench. And for whatever reason, that set her off. She slapped me on my leg and started cussing me out. She threatened again to have us kicked out so I told her to go ahead and please send someone over, I'm sure they will be happy to hear to hear that you psychically made contact with another fan and was cussing at everyone. Let's see how that works out for you. She sat down and didn't say anything the rest of the night.

Didn't bother me, I had a great time overall. Thought we played pretty well. I didn't go through the thread, but I'm assuming the foul discrepancy was greatly discussed. The fact that Kensmil got 13 shots up and didn't draw a SINGLE foul is absolutely incredible. I've never seen so many non-SFA media people talk about that on Twitter.

And yes the turnovers were rough. Particularly the two inbound passes for 4 free points, brutal. But we had our chance. Just like several of our games, just needed one or two other things to go our way and it just didn't.
