I had a whole write up with this last night & the hotel internet wouldn't work to post it!

Anyway, yes, ULM is bad. Their fundamentals against NM yesterday was lacking...Ball handling, setting up plays (if they had any), shot selection, no defense. Our starters may play just the first half & then let the bench take it home for us.

I think the real question is how our team does with the late game on a 3 day stretch but observations I've noticed: they look relaxed, they still have that bond & leadership...they didn't panic with that 1st game & the players kept communicating and cheering each other on. That's what I wanted to see....that's what will continue to build a good team.

They haven't played as well as when they did against A&M but it's all there. These 3 games will help build that confidence as they head into tougher competition.

We will miss you and V being here. Will do the best we can, although I don't think much will be needed. After Friday basketball, and Saturday football, wife has pretty well lost her voice anyway.

So quiet when free throws are being shot that we can hear the radio guy talking about her across the floor.

43-20 half with Visscher only playing about five minutes. Defense is smothering ULM.

7-1 in November with the only loss a close one to a mid teen ranked Texas A&M. Only 5 games in December. The only close contests should be against a really good Gonzaga team and a good Portland team.

After Saturday, on the road on December 12, to 6-1, #4 mid major, Gonzaga. Their loss was by four to defending national champion Stanford. The following Tuesday, the Ladyjacks are at 5-1 (RV) Portland. Their only loss is by 22 to … Stanford. Recall that former SFA photographer, Evan Luecke, is working on a masters degree at Portland.

We might get to see how high this SFA team's ceiling is next month. Some real opportunities here.
