Probably a good game to get over any post CS let down. AB should be able to dominate inside, and continue to build on her second half in the last game. Great opportunity for Zya to get her game going. Chance for the bench to show what they can do, and get some playing time reward for their work.

Our first game in Katy is against 3-0 New Mexico. They play at UH today. Their first test of the season. To their credit, they didn't tell the MTE organizers that they would stay home if they had to play us. Probably the best team of the three we play in Katy.
Good tune up for next week. New Mexico handled us last time we played.

Crowd is lite here at the OK St vs Rice game. We are literally sitting RIGHT BEHIND the bench.
Kilgore girls basketball is here. Probably thinking they too could play for Arlington Baptist.
Hmm. Don't think this could even be considered a warm-up game. Feel sorry for ARL. They're some D3 teams that would give us more of a game than this D2 team.

Everybody played, a lot. Of our newcomers, McCliment-Call, Lombard, and Nelson showed basketball skills that earn more playing time. Nelson is the rawest of the three, but playing against this team, I see how she dominated at the HS level. McCliment-Call was the player of the game.
AB and Zya look to be getting back to where they were last year.
Depth will be important in Katy with three games in three days. We have plenty of depth.
