Monday, November 15, in the Sawmill at 6:30.

Southeast Missouri was picked to finish sixth in the preseason voting for the ten team OVC. They don't have any players on the preseason team. They come into Nacogdoches with a 1-0 record after a comfortable 68-45 win over … the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy. No, really. They also had a 66-49 exhibition win over William Woods University.

Good opportunity for AB and Zya to get their games on track. Chance to tune up before a game in College Station on Thursday.

We are a mess for sure! V stays with it all game long. For really important games, I start to get a bit anxious, sometimes I even have to leave to walk around and cone back lol or, I cover my eyes. Vanessa is so used to it. We usually have something to eat like twizzlers, to help with those anxious habits.

But we do get loud & sometimes people move because of it lol

We're here. My wife is about to blow out my eardrums.

Perhaps 30 in the student section. And, more coming in.

The student entrance is the NW corner. Not the back at all. It is there because students requested they have their own entrance.

Watching on TV. Crowds looks …. Ok. Not great but pretty loud. At least the broadcast feed sounds a little rowdy. Maybe some improvement. SE Missouri is tough as nails. There girls hustle.

Good solid first half, comfortable lead. Would like to see more rebounding, less 2nd chance shots for SEMO.

Visscher is playing her usual high quality. Mitchell is playing good ball. The rest of the team is pretty mediocre.

We are getting out rebounded by a much smaller team. Positioning and hustle.

Student section and band are loud. It will be interesting in the second half when their basket is at the south end.

Yep. They hustle. They've gotten 3/4 of the loose balls and lots of offensive rebounds. Not very good shooters though.

And this is why I don't understand why the WAC did away with double headers in conference play. I'm sure that our Ladyjack crowds will generally be better than last night but after Cal Baptist, GCU and SFA , I don't see anyone else drawing any kind of attendance. No upside to this plan.
