That may have been the best half of basketball by any Ladyjacks team in the last decade, because there was domination over a very good UH team. Bri was game MVP, but it could have been Angel Scott or the Johnson sisters.
Going with a big lineup in the 2nd half negated everything UH had been doing in the first half. Great move by Kellogg.
People are nuts if they don't come out and support this team. If SFA is not nationally ranked on Monday it will be a joke.

That was fun to watch! I got frustrated a few times, but this team has some very special players. Angel Scott knocked me off my feet. That girl is going to be HUGE. I can't wait to see how the Ladyjacks look when they start to gel.
It would take a lot of good teams losing for us to be ranked, but we have lined ourselves up to knock off A&M and get that number.

Speaking of Angel....Honestly, I've never seen such improvement from a player from the 1st game to the 2nd....WOW!!!!!
And T was playing some great defense last night....what I love about this team is that, when others have an off night (Zya, AB) there are others who step up & rise to the occasion. They truly are family and play like one UNIT on the court.

I see that in T every time she steps on the court. She's so tall and lanky that when she spreads her long arms and legs it makes her look even taller and makes it difficult for opponents to make accurate passes or drive around her.

It's pretty crazy how much being on the court with giants changes perspective. Like Bri is the height of the average American woman, but on the court she looks so tiny compared to them.

I'm surprised, puzzled, and disappointed that the Ladyjacks played such a terrific game and beat Houston, yet there is not a word about it on sfajacks.com. There is a story about us losing to Sam in volleyball and already a story about the football game, but nothing about our ladies.

And our two-time National Champion SFA Bowling Team has been forgotten there, too. They hare hosting their own tournament up in Wisconsin, and not a word about it on the athletics website.
I just can't buy an 'understaffed' excuse. It would take all of 45 minutes (or less) to write and publish a very good game summary of just about any athletic event.
