With 30 seconds to go in the third, it was 59-53 SFA. We would go on to score 29 more points and Jackson St. 5. The defense came alive and the game was over.
It was an exciting full team effort, but it took several women stepping up the intensity individually to make it break out into a team experience. Zya, Marisa, Stephanie, Avery, and even Tasharian each had breakthrough moments that helped wedge the game open.
Great job Ladyjacks! This should be a fun year.
He also said this is probably his most talented group since he has been at SFA and that his assistants have encouraged him to try the line-up that worked so great in the 4th We have some great Asst. WBB coaches that don't get much recognition...they are a talented group!SFAJack_76 said:
We went small in the fourth quarter with Avery at the 5, and Stephanie playing the 4. Post game, Kellogg said this is a lineup they really hadn't practiced. He is still learning how to utilize our depth, and rotations. Two home games before going on the road to UH and Auburn. Should be fun to watch this team grow. Need to get Aiyana going.

I was thinking about going to that game but wanted to wait until closer to game time to buy tickets. Don't know about ticket availability tho. Thanks for supporting our Ladies in the H!
Awesome! I had checked a couple weeks ago and there were tickets. Maybe I will bite the bullet, especially if they have a refund policy.SFA Jack Fanatic said:Pilotgirl said:

One of my sons is a UH grad, and I got my Master's from there. He bought the tickets online (I believe) from the UH ticket office. I'm sure that I will have one of the few purple shirts there.
