Thanks! I was texting with a Mississippi State grad, and friend, last night and this morning. He was nearly as excited as I was. Well .. not exactly, but you get my point.

Love your Muttthehoople handle and it's very appropriate. I met the girl I married at SFA in 1974 at a friend's house where we were all big fans of, and listening to records by, the rock band Mott the Hoople. Fair to say that had we not been mutual fans and in Nacogdoches at SFA back then, we'd never have met and been married going on 45 years.

And when Mott played a series of reunion shows in London in 2009 we were there, enjoying the moment and memories

So, thanks for the congrats...we're enjoying our 30 minutes of fame...and for evoking some very fond recollections of Nacogdoches, SFA, and some awesome early 70's music.

Oh, and the Jacks basketball team in the early 70's was a pretty stout NAIA outfit at the time, too.
