Late to log on, but very happy with the performance. Nicholls was out gunned from the beginning, and again we dominated basically every aspect of the game.
While it's just two games, and there's still a lot of games left, Coach Keller and his staff deserve a lot of credit for the way we've looked. The ball movement has been exceptional, and the defensive pressure that we saw glimmers of early in the season has been outstanding. Nicholls is a solid club shooting wise, and we held them to 33% (26% from 3, where they previously lead the league). There were 2 10 second calls and a ton of other backcourt turnovers created.
Also, as much as we've (myself included) have ragged on Jovan, he played pretty well when TJ was sitting. Still had a few boneheaded lapses, but actually played solid defense and even got a couple of shot to falls.
The officiating is just mind boggling. A 30 to 7 free throw discrepancy at home is ridiculous. Both teams were pretty physical. It's not that some of the calls are questionable, but some are just flat out wrong.
