Well Isaac, that's kinda the story of SFA football....we finally sound like (per 107.7) SFA is playing a complete game on both sides of ball and we lose starting QB,,,,,hope it's not as bad as it looked.

Defense has played lights out.

Well guess we fans can eat some crow about this game. Still 7 minutes left as I'm writing this, but even losing a QB, we didn't implode. Actually running the ball, and our defense has been up to the task (at this point ACU is 0-10 on 3 down). I'm not so optimistic to see this as "everything starting to click," but I'll give it to the Jacks and Conque for executing a game plan. By no means a perfect game (looking at you to finish offense), but solid performances.

ACU just converted AND scored a TD, thanks a lot lol jk

The line is surprisingly even on most of the stats...except one: turnovers. 0 to 4 seals this game.

A complete game. It'll take a while to shed the negativity. I listen to most games and attend three or four in person each year. That So Utah put a damper on me. A couple of more wins in a row and maybe I'll shed the negativity.

Solid win tonight. A nice step forward, good play from all aspects of the team. Agree with Nacluth comments, still a lot to do heading deeper into the schedule but I'm all for enjoying a nice win tonight.

I hope we are as classy as ACUCattitude and other from ACU who have been on this board. I know we all get wrapped up in our team spirit but class and respect of other regardless of the team goes a long way.

I don't want to brag, but I vaguely remember calling this one.

Congrats guys, you dominated our OL, you tackled well and you managed to move the ball fairly effectively in the air and on the ground. Our defense was exhausted and you made Dallas look like a HS QB. You played like you wanted to win and you did. Keep it up and you will indeed have a good season.

Agree with drbear....not sure I know him well enough for first name basis.....on the ACU posters and class that sooooooo many lack nowadays. Could have been a bit more feisty exchange if this board hadn't given up the ship on the season.....here's hoping this team is learning how to win, McNeese will provide a good test.

SFA averaging almost 14,000 a game this season.

Good point about attendance. I would guess that if we got a win against SUU or played SMU close we would probably be looking at a pretty good attendance score for ole SFA. Parents weekend coming up and we usually get 12k - 14k for that game easy......... and the weather is supposed to be perfect! A couple of wins here and we might have a good attendance record.
