Ha. Actually, I'm very happy we're on top. A win's a win and all that. It's going to be a tough season, but it's all better after a win.

Non game related questions. We have our tickets to the Homecoming game and will be spending the weekend in Nac to take part in the homecoming festivities.

1) As newbies to SFA any activities we should make it a priority to attend
2) We have seats on row 13 ... do those seats have backs? If not I am assuming we can bring stadium seats.

Let me check those seats to be sure. If they don't have backs you can definitely bring them.

I know Conque has been disappointing, but let's not leave out Crowton. Being from Louisiana I have watched him at Louisiana Tech and LSU. His play calling is extremely predictable. Look for the swing pass or wide receiver screen almost every series if not on first and third down. Tonight, it's asking pass to the right, then a swing pass to the left one play after the other. The only time he wasn't predictable was the first quarter when we aired it out and put 21 in the board. Then for the next two and a half quarters we were predictable until we aired it out when we were down. Sometimes you need to make a game plan to fit the players, not the opposite. Crowton shouldn't be left out in our blame game.

Congrats on your win against UIW. I think many of us at ACU were surprised a little at some of the stats, but to see you guys stay in it and win it like you did; one to remember. Beginning in D2, we learned that UIW can be a sticky game, they do have talent. We hope you make it to the mesquites this Saturday. If you do, be safe.

Your reply made me re-read the emotional roller-coaster that this thread was, so thank you for that...lol. Very much looking forward to this weekend but not feeling great about our chances. I know it's early but Adam Dorrel looks like the real thing.
