I like the more modern approach, but I do love the more classic look the old one brings- but yes! This kind of idea.

Bye week got me thinking of others things. Like our old Lumberjack logo this one:
Why aren't we embracing it more and using it as various sports logos just for fun? Could have one for Football, Baseball, and basketball. I guess I saw the A&M Army Sarge as a baseball logo and thought it would be cool for us to do the same.

Nice to see that both Montana (#2) and North Dakota (#4) lost tonight. Great for the rankings and a perfect bye week.

I watched most of the UIW @ Lamar game today. My thoughts...
Lamar is a very good team, better than I expected. Their offense is 80% run. They have a stud RB named Jojo Uga. He's tough with pretty good speed. He had 144 yards on 22 carries, most of which he got in the first half before he was banged up.
Their QB Aiden McCown is not a passing threat but his scrambling is. SFA will have to contain him. He had 123 passing yards, with a big chunk of it coming on one long pass.
Defense is their weakness, in my opinion. Our offense should have a great day against them, especially passing.
UIW shot themselves in the foot several times. Their offense was very good, other than their self-inflicted wounds. They had 303 yards passing. They were behind by 20 points in the 3rd quarter before storming back to get within three before caughing up the ball on a fumble with about 90 seconds left.

The playoff picture is starting to take shape! π
Some teams are putting themselves in position for a Top 8 seed, others are fighting to stay on the bubble, and a few are running out of chances.

Oh, how time flies when youβre having fun. Believe it or not, FCS football passed midseason this weekend. Craig Haley looks back and ranks the best of the first half of the campaign.https://t.co/xmU8PCS9gQ
