This is a screen shot of the 1988 game between the Jacks and No. 1 North Texas, from a video tape I found in a memory box I was going through. One of the greatest games in the program's history. The (albeit a little blurry) shot is of Larry Centers scoring a 14-yard touchdown. For you young folks, believe me: it was a day of days. Imagine this: it was a capacity crowd at Homer Bryce. On glorious natural grass. Game full of drama. The video broadcast unfortunately is only through 3 quarters.
I could (and dang it, I just may) regale y'all with the story of that game in another post. Just an incredible, momentous moment in Lumberjack football history.
