I don't hate the passing from your end zone idea. It worked. It got them past the 10. But personally I would have went ahead and pulled Rutherford after he got the first, if Vidlak is not injured.
Lots of time left in the 4th. Hopefully, Carthel did not put Rutherford in just because we had the lead! That is how we have LOST games in the past by relaxing a little and/or taking our starters out!!! This is a game we have to win!!!

On every play, I do. The only way they get back in it is if we give them the ball. But just MO, as our end game management is not always the best.

100%. After the second fumble, you have to go to Mclyea. Second string qb spot was a battle this year. Mclyea has proven himself enough to be confident in as a backup in my opinion.

Big road W, no matter how pretty! Huge!
Huge road win. Nicholls run defense locked us up. Vidlak and receivers made some great plays but yes Defense was the star today. 8 QB sacks. Held Nicholls down despite huge time of possession difference.
