We need this level of camera quality at Homer Bryce.
I know everyone has given Trae Self grief, and he certainly missed throws this year, but Xavier Gipson reminds me a ton of Terrell Owens in the sense when he catches it, he's gonna make something happen, but also drops a lot of passes. Him and Trae just need to spend all off season playing catch.

Inability to run the ball today is allowing Memphis to tee off and rush Self. That combined with overthrows and drops is crushing our offense.
Defense is really playing well but again spending too much time on the field. Pretty typical results when we play an FBS team.

Kinda risky if you ask me. 7-3/6-4 looks great but you could ruin that moment with a loss to Sam if they've had 3 games to warm up.
But a December game against CUSA or Sunbelt with a chance to win? I like that.

Very much in it at the half. Much credit to the defense, offense did look better late. Let's stay with them in the 2nd half.
Our offense has looked bad. Our defense has bent but not broken. But we're in the game at the half, and that's all that matters.
Assuming he stays healthy, he will be playing on Sundays. He just has to get more consistent catching the ball.
All things considered, I am very pleased with this half. Young team with 20 guys out with injury, and 9 opted out. The future .... wow.

He'll certainly catch people's eye. I compare him to a faster Duane Brooks.
