Our offense is white hot garbage.
This is a horribly called game right now on the offensive side of the ball. This has become too familiar every game, Injuries or not. I've seen people trying to pin it on Self, but this offense playcalling hasn't made any adjustments.
The offense hasn't been awful, we are literally 2 plays away from this being a 20 point lead. We have just made 3 mistakes and all 3 of those have cost us points, with 1 of them giving them points.

How can you lose faith in Carthel already in a covid season and inheriting a mess of a program. I haven't lost faith in him, but I do question his offensive coaches.

This is the attitude that has kept SFA from succeeding. Year 2, taking over and basically starting completely from scratch. You cannot expect to win right now with a new coach.
Does it sometimes happen? Certainly. 90% of the time it doesn't. You have to give a college coach honestly about 3-4 years before you can fairly judge them. Carthel is a great coach. We are infinitely better than we've been since 2014. We just need to keep improving.

And that's drop number 4 that would've either scored or put us in scoring position. Self has had an outstanding game.

Self has been very good today, carrying the offense.
Play calling is a problem at times for me going back to last season. Would like to see Carthel take a closer look at that aspect.

Why do we not go under center on 4th and one foot?
Zone Read on less than a yard, these coaches are literally proving my point.
I don't think we have any under center sets. It's hard to put a QB who's not used to taking that snap to do it.
