Lumberjack through and through. Mentor to any new coach coming to Nacogdoches. We saw him and his wife Pat at both the PLF luncheon and radio coaches show last Monday. They were regulars on the alumni association bus to away games.

Sad to hear this.....remember Coach Simmons well from my time at SFA. Fine gentleman, surely to be missed by the SFA and local community.
