Great win. Happy for, and proud of, the seniors that hung in through some brutally tough times.

This reminds me so much of when they were cheering as our injured players were carted of the field.

So here's one of the best things about the win for me - in Shreveport, LA.. Every Friday the local sports radio's morning show is sponsored by NSU - it's called ForkEm Friday. On a small win streak at the time, they were all about how they had turned the corner and this team, despite the slow start, could be considered one of the elite teams in the conference. Today...cricketts. I guess that's what an ass (axe) kicking does to your dreams.

It seems wrong to feel this good about a 3-9 season. Don't care. No regrets. Excited to see the continued growth under Carthel, Ivey, and team.

Exactly! Those "in the know" can see that a foundation has been poured this year.

Honestly it feels like the fans are happy too. This team has made giant strides all year. Give Trae an entire offseason to work on his accuracy and decision making. Give that defense and offensive line some time in the weight room. Lets get to work and kick a whole lot of Axe next year.

With a couple of better play calls at the goal line where we should have ended the game before OT we were toying with a 5-7 record. So with 50% freshmen playing this was a great culture change and foundation year. Excited about the future.

Freshman Xavier Gipson. Incompetent SLC spelled his name wrong.
