National signing dates for football are December 19-21. Contact period for coaches to visit recruits started yesterday and goes through December 15.

The regular signing period will be February 6 through April 1.

So if we announce the hire on December 1st, that basically gives the guy two weeks for the early signing period?

I wonder if the current coaches are out making visits or staying home and roasting chestnuts on an open fire....

I have seen tweets from at least two that are out making visits with recruits. Must be tough, but they are still getting paid.
