The way he delivers his throws and his pocket presence. He's very accurate and really has been a bad victim of a ton of drops. He looks to have more control of the offense too despite his crappy o-line play.
Jake is a game manager. He won't make mistakes. But he doesn't finish drives.

Defense deserved a better showing by the offense. And once we lost our dB to targeting, they picked on the new guy, which opened up the passing game which opened up the running game. For but a couple of red zone screw ups we could have been in this game much longer. But it's always worth coming to the games at hjb to us, tailgating is fun if you make it so, band is one of the best in the land, and life it too short not to realize it's just football on fall Saturday in Texas. AxeEm!

It's the o-line folks. Again. Blumrick played the best I have seen him. He got brutalized and continued to get up and go again. Zero running game. The team did get on their heals when they went down by two TD's, but they never quit.

This is a four game season with three of the four being very winnable. That is what Byrd and team have got to be preaching.

If you want to see a couple of solid O-Lines watch West Virginia vs. Iowa State. Really solid. Iowa State shows what you can do playing solid fundamentals.

I agree best game yet by Jake.. Constantly had to pick himself up off the ground ..
