New NCAA FB rules:
1) To speed up play, the 40-second play clock for the extra point will start immediately after a touchdown.
2) Following the kickoff, the 40-second play clock will start when the ball is declared dead.
3) When a team makes a catch on a kickoff (not a safety kick) inside their 25-yard line, they will get the ball at the 25-yard line on the touchback. This was done in order to improve safety and reduce injuries. Obviously, more injuries occur on kick returns than on touchbacks.
