I agree with Coach K on a couple of things.

1) St. Edwards definitely is a very good basketball team. Give credit where it is due. They have some serious shooters on that team. We won by finally wearing them down. Our depth was vastly superior to theirs.

2) Stephon played a really good game. He didn't score a lot of points, but he showed that he's not afraid to tussle with guys in the paint. He is going to be a vast improvement over Gru (already is, IMO) and will really help us as he gets even more comfortable with playing college ball.

I'm not ready to proclaim Kevon as a POY candidate, but he sure has become as much of a leader of this team as TJ. Aaron had a solid game. He's 100% improved from last year. Doesn't look like the same guy on the court. His confidence shows, and he's improved his shooting, too. And I'm really, really impressed with Shannon. He is fast and can sky big time for a guy his size.

If we play the way we did the last 10 minutes of the game, we can beat anybody. If we play the way we did in the first half, lots of teams can beat us.

Glad to hear that Ty is close to coming back and that Nate is not too far behind. We'll need both of them come conference season. Our depth will get even better.

Who's the other guy giving questions and yes sir-ing the whole time?

Agree with Edstile that we got potential but it's not yet full game potential. Looking forward to seeing them in person tomorrow.
