I'm with you, but I'll pretty much root against anyone that plays Alabama. I'm not for dynasties unless, of course, it's one of my teams. It's getting marginally better, but the rankings have been way too biased towards the SEC the last decade. The Texas/USC Rose Bowl was the end of any semblance of conference parity. It will get better some point, but in the meantime, down to Alabama.
