Howard University defeated UNLV 43-40 yesterday. By point-spread standards, it was the biggest upset ever in college football. Howard was a 45-point underdog according to foreign bookmakers. Las Vegas bookmakers didn't bother to even offer a line on such a "lopsided" affair.

So, what did Howard get for daring to beat the host team Rebels? UNLV (reluctantly, I'm sure) will pay them $600,000 for visiting Sin City.
