Nic had originally signed with Kansas State coming out of high school in 2015, but opted to go the junior college route at Northern Oklahoma College. The Mavericks went 43-19 and were ranked #7 in the nation (NJCAA) The team was #1 in the nation in battering average and finished as the regions runner up.

He has a big time arm and power at the plate.

Got his teammate too

Northern Oklahoma has been ranked in the Top 12 the last 3 seasons.

I think Cardenas is getting another year. I couldn't imagine an as of yet unnamed AD coming in and firing a coach after he's been recruiting post season.

I know ERA is somewhat subjective based on opponent quality, but that's a heck of an ERA.

I get your comment about small school, but Grayson Rodriguez from 3A Central Heights was the #11 pick in the draft and signed for something like $4.5 million. Baseball is different.

2019 recruit from Farmersville. C/Inf/P. Older brother Chase just finished his freshman year at UTSA.

We also grabbed a kid out of Louisiana late for 2018 class the Carson Clowers kid. I travel a lot to the Monroe area and have caught some local games. He has a great glove.

There is another school in monroe called ouachita christian that is loaded with kids for 2019. Watched several of their games as well.
