I'd agree with that. Some talent already here in Nac, but we had big shoes to fill after 2021 season.

After seeing the way college football is heading and the whole transfer portal deal.. Coach Carthel is going to lighten up on building with HS kids.. The game is changing and so is he and his philosophies so that his teams are always successful.. I foresee a huge use of the portal by Carthel and staff and less HS recruitment..

Yep and he got a follow from SFA.

6-2; 175 from Rusk, Texas played in 4 games started 3 as a true freshman completing 57 passes for 600 yards and 2 TDs while rushing for 38 yards and 2 TDs

  • Made his first career start against UCLA.
  • Earliest start in a season by any true freshman in school history.
  • Second most passing yards in a debut in school history.
