Her tweets are private, but she committed to the good guys today. This is a very nice pick up.

Yes, and for the second year in a row. Remember, we have three freshmen gems that have joined the team this Fall.

Brittingham's Jr. stats: 15.4 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 3.2 apg, 2.6 spg, 1.5 bpg, 51% fg.: Almost identical stats in her sophomore year. Class 5-A All-Region 1 First Team

This from an NCAA girls hoops scouting service: "Creates countless mismatches and can defend a multitude of positions. A fabulous addition for the Jacks. She is a tremendous competitor on the boards. She is a powerful, versatile player with an array of skills and athleticism."

5'8"guard on an undefeated 3A state championship team. Haven't found the championship box yet, but she scored 18 on 6-9 shooting in the semis.

Started 22 games as a true freshman, while appearing in 30 games. Terrific assist to turnover ratio of 1.6. Outstanding prep career. DNP the last two seasons due to injury. Eligible immediately. Could probably get a sixth season if she wants, with a medical appeal. At least two years eligibility.

Sounds painful, but hopefully able to be overcome now that they've got the diagnosis right.

And we've got some of the best injury recovery trainers in the biz.

I'm wondering if Coach Kellogg is sort of rolling the dice on this one. If the roll is right, this could turn out to be a great get for the next a year or two.

I don't think there is any concern about her health. At all.

Ines looks like another Stephanie Visscher (maybe a tad taller and maybe a bit better near the basket?). Very athletic. I agree, 76 -- Nice!

Unless I have missed a departure, this gets us to a full 15 scholarship players for the first time under Kellogg. I asked him about that last year at a PLF luncheon, and he said that it was too hard to keep 15 happy with playing time. Something changed, or we had players leave I don't know about.

Regardless, I really like what Kellogg and staff are doing.
