Wow. An incredible loss for the university.

We are better off for people like him & his wife Gwen, who had no ties to SFA but fell in love with our university.

What an incredible legacy. RIP Mr Cole.

A powerhouse in Nacogdoches. He will be missed. I'm going to see my dad be honored at the Cole Art Center tonight which is a wonderful addition to the downtown community.

So sorry to hear this. In addition to the very significant money contributions, Mr. Cole attended multiple functions. As a Rotary Club member, he was in the serving line at the Meet the Jacks catfish dinner in October. Since then, we had seen him at volleyball, basketball, and the Monday PLF luncheons. He will be missed. The legacy he and his wife have left will live on forever.
