We had a moment of silence for three TLU athletes that died this week. That is tragic.

With it being SFA Charter School night there's double the attendance from Monday, but it's still light for a Friday night. Hopefully next week against Rice will be more impressive.

Our first three buckets were inside. Their first three were all against Christian Green. Coach not happy.

SFA 9-7 first media. A very uninspiring first 5 minutes. We have missed 9 shots already. As good as we looked out the gate on Monday is how bad we look today.

That #30 guy from TLU has skills! We all know its only about 7 minutes away from this game being 49 27 and then ending 112 68. That Narit kid gives me Walkup vibes. Walkup lives in Europe now with a super model wife. Maybe Narit can keep his keds tied up and take us past the next Notre Dame and join Tommy with a poster on the bedroom wall of anyone bleeding purple! Go Jacks!!

Our second squad of Simmons, Scurry, Alisas, Scott, and Pearson playing better than our starters. Scott is a shooter.

SFA 17-10 second media. Second team has forced two shot clock violations. They might not be as potent offensively as the starters but they are better defensively.

SFA 26-13. Third media. Green has turned up his hustle to earn some extra playing time.

TLU expecting 4 more players at half who are getting off their Best Buy shifts.

In terms of team comps...we are designing rockets while TLU is learning how to draw on cavewalls.

Last six minutes of the half were what we wanted. Shut them out and got the offense rolling. Only 5 threes in the half but I guess we can't always have 15.

I had big doubts about our point position coming into this season losing Keon. I don't have those any more. Makke, Simmons, Scott, Scurry all look good moving the ball. Russell and Narit could do it in a pinch. It's nice to have options.

SFA's stats are OK but not great. The difference is turnover margin. TLC simply doesn't have the talent and depth that we do. When we play Rice we'll be able to see what we actually have this year.

Manciel is the only bench player that hasn't seen the floor yet. I'm assuming Candler is a redshirt and Hupp is a walk-on. Melvin still moving super slow. He's in a good mood though.

SFA 54-19 U16. TLU hit a bucket ending a 9 minute scoring drought.

No, but he's hit a couple of floaters and he's earned his pay with some decent defense tonight.

SFA 71-23. A little sloppy the last four minutes. Defense has stayed good but just playing for fast buckets.

MJ, Manu, Kobe. I think I've discovered our recruiting strategy. Next year we'll have a Shaq and a Magic.
