Our Ladyjacks get a road trip that is somewhat more appealing than the tournament in Katy last year. They traveled on Wednesday with games on Thanksgiving day and Saturday.

First up is against the 6-0 Lady Bears of Morgan State. All of the Lady Bears games have been at home against less than stellar competition. The last game was a come from behind 50-49 win over 0-5 St. Francis (Pa). In spite of the travel the day before the game, this one should not be much of a test. 3:00 tip. Being streamed on FloSports.

ESPN reported that at the end of the first quarter it's Morgan St. leading 10-4, but that seems near impossible.

I signed up for Flo Hoops and watched the tip off and then it went black and says no live stream.

Was able to watch the love stream of the previous riveting game of Stony Brook and A&M CC!!!!

They have a couple good players but can't figure out how to beat our defense. Really like the defensive intensity I've seen from Angel...that has definitely improved since her freshman outing.

It seemed clear that Morgan St. decided that running clock was the way to limit the Ladyjacks offense. But they stick with it the whole game and could never get into it. They would burn 20 seconds per possession before starting their attack. Got me why they though that would get them back in.

Dominant inside. Points in the paint 34-10. Johnson and Harden combined were 11-11 with 15 rebounds. Angel struggled shooting 1-6, 1-5 on 3's.

Kellogg will not be happy with the 16 turnovers. AB had 5 of them. AB also 0-4 from the free throw line. AB has dramatically improved her free throw shooting since her freshman year. Tonight was not her night.

He will be happy with the inside play, and 17 assists on 22 made buckets.

On to BC on Saturday. They play Morgan State on Friday, so the coaches get to scout and our team gets a day to rest.

BC is going to be a challenge. Eight girls on the roster 6' or taller. Our outside shots are going to need to fall. They are prone to turnovers.
