Sam comes to Nacogdoches with the third best NET in the SLC at 187. They are 3-2 in conference including a home win over ACU by 16 in their last game ten days ago.

They go essentially seven deep with three players averaging over 30 minutes a game. 5'11" junior forward Amber Leggett leads in multiple categories including scoring, rebounds, and three point shooting percentage. 6'2" junior forward Madelyn Batista has one of the most interesting stats. In five SLC games, she has 24 fouls. Expect Sam to put up a lot of threes. Perimeter defense will be important.

Recall that we layed an egg in Huntsville last season, but that was the game that Zya showed what she was going to become. All time, Sam is 13-72 against SFA, including 5-35 in Nacogdoches. Expect more of the same today.

I hope there is a good crowd today. This team has earned that.

I've criticized him from Day One. Complete embarrassment and can't stand him for several reasons.
