Not passing judgment because I know nada about it, but if there's a kernel of truth in it, well...we don't need that kind of stuff.

Speculation:

They found something...was not as bad as they thought.

Probably some internal discipline to the coach.

It could not have been THAT bad, since he still has the job.

Yes, a guy I work with told me about this way back in April when the story broke and we agree with aqua's comments above.. No real way for us on the outside to know all the facts. Maybe some personality clash between the parties.

I hate talking about rumors and obviously that's all we know of this. So with that said, I don't want to discount the real possibility that there was wrong-doing - BUT the narrative I've mostly heard centers on a couple arguably immature players losing their scholarships and upset parents blaming the coaches. I know there are two sides to every story but this news came out late last spring.

Yeah, I remember when she wrote that article right as the investigation was launched, and I thought it had to be the worst timing. Even if young student athletes are all entitled brats with no work ethic, it would still have been poor timing.

Maybe it's naivete, but in this day with a relatively unproven coach, I think if there was sufficient cause,he would be gone.

I hate to use "commonly used terms" but this sounds like a couple of "snowflakes" getting there feathers ruffled because they were pushed to excel.....
