I honestly thought it was a foolish decision for Self to declare himself for the draft. Good QB but not that good. Yet. Wish him well.

Honestly if he did as good or better than his junior year I think he'd easily be picked up as an UDFA somewhere. He does have the skills and physicality to do it. But the 2022 season wasn't the best tape for him, and at the FCS level good tape is 100% how you'll get on a roster.

He has worked out for XFL teams though and I'm sure he will get a chance at one of the lower leagues, which will give him a chance to get tape for potential NFL shots. I think he can do it if he stays at it.
