Hot off the presses, this release from SFA athletics a few minutes ago:

NACOGDOCHES, Texas
Stephen F. Austin head coach Clint Conque has announced the addition of wide receiver Frank Iheanacho to the Lumberjack football program. Iheanacho has enrolled in classes at SFA and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Lumberjacks.

"We're excited to be able to add Frank to the Lumberjack family and get him going with our football program," Conque said. "Frank obviously brings some big game experience, playing in an SEC program and competing against some of the nation's best teams. He brings height and speed and will add some key depth at the wide receiver position. Frank was a high school teammate of Loren Easly and we're excited to get those two playmakers reunited."

Iheanacho comes to Nacogdoches after spending the past three seasons at Texas A&M. The 6-6, 230-pound receiver played in 18 games for the Aggies, catching eight passes for 71 yards, including playing in 11 games in 2016 during his sophomore campaign.

A native of Houston, Iheanacho was a two year starter at Westside High School along with current SFA running back Loren Easly. Iheanacho earned first team all-district honors as a senior, catching 44 passes for 652 yards and 16 touchdowns. A four-star recruit out of high school, Iheanacho was named a U.S. Army All-American after leading the Wolves to back-to-back playoff appearances.

The addition of Iheanacho brings Conque's mid-year enrollees to seven players, including four offensively. He is the second wide receiver added to the roster, joining Terian Goree (North Texas), with quarterback Foster Sawyer (TCU) and offensive lineman Josiah Hunter (Chaffey College) rounding out the offensive additions.

We are now less than two weeks from 2017 National Signing Day, taking place on Wednesday, February 1st. SFAJacks.com will have complete coverage of the newest members of the Lumberjack family, along with Twitter updates throughout the morning @SFA_Football.

I've been as big a critic as any with the way football has gone the last two years but WOW. What an off season this team is having. I don't know that I've been this excited for a season in awhile...

Huge. It would be nice if some of the added players allowed us to move some to corner and safety. So weak in the defensive backfield

There's already a boatload of defensive back commits that will sign on Feb. 1. Hopefully, there will be a few who are already good enough to help right away.
