I think Colt was 1 game away from being known as the best. If he never got hurt and won that national title game, I think his entire legacy is different.
But Texas was blessed in a 10 year span to have Major Applewhite, VY, and Colt McCoy, only to follow that with David Ash, Garrett Gilbert, and Case McCoy.
