Wish I could join in the fun to turn Katy into a home court for us, but we leave on Monday to head to Southern Cal for 3 months.

Just drove back from Huntsville...... my comments would be such, the first 13-14 minutes of that game were as good as anything I've seen including all but maybe two games in the Brad Underwood era. I mean the defense was absolutely mauling Sam. But then there's like weird gaps and moments of just lazy passing and positioning. The game was never in doubt but I'd like to see a complete game. Not that we had to put the knife in and twist ..... at any rate on to Katy.

Just back myself. Great hanging out with you Txjack. Sorry if I yelled too much.
Great game and fan experience. Loved the home court atmosphere. Gilmore going 4-4 from three to start the game was electric. Then the D. So stiff. I don't know how many credited blocks there were for the first half, but there were so many hands on the ball every possession, it was almost a crime. We had the fire! It's easy to say Sam is no good, but the truth of the matter is that it was the 3/4 seed matchup where they hadn't lost a conference game all year. We turned it into our court and spanked them. We got to a double digit lead after 5 minutes and never let it get below 12.
I hope this atmosphere travels to Katy because our team loved it. They fed off of us. Matt, you would have been proud. Great finish to the regular season! Axe 'em!

We were about two minutes late getting tickets and walked in to loud chants of defense, and I was like dang the Bearkat crowd is fired up, then we walked into the arena to find out it was our crowd.
One of the most fun games I've been too, I think that should be our Cram the Coliseum game every year.

If we have any hope. Any hope at all of being a 15 seed we need to win convincingly. Otherwise just winning out gets us a 16 seed.

You know, theoretically, the easiest route for a good team to a national championship would be 16 over 1 upset.
Then you get to face the very hardest teams at the end. instead of having to play through them in round 2 and 3.

I agree the next three games are what counts now. "If" we win out we are not a 16 seed. The NEC, Atlantic Sun, MEAC, SWAC, Big South, and Patriot have league leading teams with over 10 losses and sub 160 RPI's. If we win out at 28-6 we are a strong 15 and maybe a 14. None of this matters unless we win out. If we don't it's HELLO CBI or CIT or whatever.....
